A few simple steps to keep your cotton tablecloth looking new for longer.

1.Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water before use. This removes stray threads and excess dye and helps preserve the color.

2.Use a mild detergent that does not contain harsh ingredients! Chlorine bleach is not suitable (chlorine bleach will quickly fade the color). However, oxygen bleach can remove stubborn stains.
Warm or cold water is best. Cotton tablecloths can be machine washed, but avoid using the heavy wash cycle to prevent pilling.

3.Tumble dry in the shade or on a low heat (avoid high temperatures as cotton tablecloths may shrink slightly!).
Ironing a slightly damp tablecloth on medium heat will keep the edges neat. If you prefer a more casual style, you may not need to iron as often.

4.To prevent wrinkles, fold or roll your tablecloth and store in a cool, dry closet. Avoid using plastic bags. It is important that cotton tablecloths “breathe”.

5.To reduce laundry time, shake out all debris after use. Cotton tablecloths are durable, but they can easily get caught on sharp edges, so hang them carefully!
