1.Prior to the first use, a preliminary rinse is recommended. This step serves to wash away the sizing materials and any loose dyes on the surface. As a result, the cotton fabric will become more supple during use and be less prone to color fading.
2.During the washing process, do not use chlorine bleach. Softeners are not necessary. A mild – type detergent is the best choice to maintain the integrity of the cotton fibers.
3.Wash cotton items at room temperature. Do not soak them in extremely hot water. Whether hand – washing or machine – washing, avoid aggressive back – and – forth scrubbing. For machine washing, do not shake – dry the cotton pieces. After washing, dry them in a well – aired place; keep them away from direct sunlight. Ironing at a low temperature is suitable. If using a dryer, ensure the temperature does not exceed 30 degrees Celsius. High heat can harm the cotton fabric and lead to product deformation.
4.When drying cotton, lay it flat to dry. Do not over – stretch cotton products to prevent them from getting deformed. When storing, fold them neatly and store in a dark, low – humidity, and ventilated environment.
5.Avoid hanging cotton on sharp objects. Cotton has good water absorption. Once wet, its weight increases, and it has a nice drape property.
