1.Before the first use, it is advisable to give it a gentle rinse. This helps to remove any inherent sizing agents and excess dyes on the surface. Doing so will make the linen softer for subsequent use and reduce the likelihood of fading.
2.When washing, steer clear of chlorine bleach. There is no need for a softener. Opt for a mild – formulated detergent to protect the natural fibers.
3.Wash linen at room temperature. Refrain from soaking it in high – temperature water, dry – cleaning in inappropriate conditions, or engaging in vigorous back – and – forth rubbing during hand washing. For machine washing, do not shake – dry the linen. After washing, dry it in a well – ventilated area; avoid direct sunlight exposure. Low – temperature ironing is recommended. If using a dryer, set the temperature below 30 degrees Celsius. High temperatures can damage the linen fabric and cause the product to lose its shape.
4.When drying linen, lay it flat. Never over – stretch the linen items to prevent deformation. For storage, fold them neatly and place in a dark, low – humidity, and well – ventilated space.
5.Avoid hanging linen on sharp objects. Linen has moderate water absorption. Its weight increases when wet, and it possesses good drape characteristics.
